Tuesday, February 23rd "Well, little Ethan Hunter Burton sure has changed our lives in many ways. Getting a full night's sleep is a thing of the past it seems for awhile. :) He is really cute, though, and is already at only 2 weeks old growing out of 3 month old clothes. Unreal. He's already holding his head up for several seconds and supporting it well, which, I am told is rather unusual for a child that young. Kristi's mom has been here for a week now, and her dad is flying in today from South Dakota. Karen has been such a help to us in doing so many things from fixing meals, to washing clothes, to just loving on Kristi and I and the baby. Andy, Kristi's brother will be here tonight as well, and we're both looking forward to having him here with us as well. We're gonna post some more pics of Ethan on the site soon. I have been busy over the last few days working in the office trying to get concerts booked and catching up on book work. We are playing our first concert since Ethan was born NEXT FRIDAY NIGHT! It'll be March 5th already! Seems impossible. We'll be at Wellspring UMC down in Williamsburg. Those of you down in that area, please plan on coming out for the concert. It'll be at 7:30PM and it's a free concert. Hope to see some of you there! That following Sunday night, the 7th, we'll be at Woods United Methodist Church in Chesterfield, VA for a 7PM concert that will be open to the public and for our friends in the Central VA area, we'd love to see you!"
Friday, February 12th, 2010 Well, he is here. That's right, our little baby finally came this past Sunday night at 7PM after a long labor for Kristi. We'll post more about the awesome answers to prayer God gave later in the journal section and possibly in a new newsletter soon. Little Ethan Hunter Burton weighed 9 pounds and 14 ounces when he was born, and we finally have some pictures of him in the pics section of this website. we'll post some more and also include some in the newsletter soon. Baby and mother are doing wonderfully. Mom is resting at home and baby is stealing our hearts. My sister, Sarah, and her husband, Will just got here this afternoon and my mom, Cherlyne, has been here several times as well helping out. A church we recently had the honor of singing in, Concord Baptist, here close to Farmville, brought us dinner tonight and is going to do so several more times next week! What a spirit of servanthood and Christ-likeness, and we appreciate it so much. To everyone who's been praying and praying and sending emails and letters we thank you from our hearts. We'd have never gotten through all this without you all. Sorry this has been so delayed. With the lack of sleep and all of the new jobs stemming from little "Bufie" coming into the world we just didn't have time to do this until now. Hope you enjoy the pics and feel free to email!
Monday, February 1st Just wanted everyone to know that the little one has not come yet.....it is due on Friday, the 5th, so we're kind of in "ready to go" mode. Wow, Kristi is bigger even than she was last week it seems. She's still so pretty and and I am so proud of her for her endurance through this pregnancy. She hasn't been complaining and has been quite kind and loving through the whole thing. I have a wonderful wife. We will post pictures on the website when we get them of the little one, and will let you know when he/she is born. We are not playing any concerts again until March. Check the schedule page for updates there. Thanks for your prayers!!"
Wednesday, January 13th We are back from the weekend jaunt through Maryland and Pennsylvania. It was a great weekend with many trials and victories provided by the Lord. We ministered Friday night at Leonardtown Church of the Nazarene and got to see some old friends and even though it was a low turnout and a cold evening, we had a great time playing music again. It had been a couple of months since our last concert. Saturday night we led worship and did a mini-concert up in Sewickly, PA for an Episcopal church's contemporary service. We had a drummer and bass player for that night and just had a great time. Sunday morning we were in Coraopolis, PA just outside of Pittsburgh for the morning service of the Assembly of God church there. What a morning. The Lord moved in a mighty way and many were down at the altar praying and seeking the Lord and repenting for sins. It was so refresghing to see the Spirit of God move like that. We'd been praying for that all week. We got to stay in Pittsburgh an extra day and just recover Sunday afternoon in the hotel before heading home early Monday morning. We got back late Monday evening, and boy, were we tired. Poor Kristi had had just about all she could take of being in the car. That was the last long trip we're taking before the baby comes. We play this weekend here close to home near Farmville, VA on Saturday night and Sunday morning, and then we're staying home until after baby comes. Keep us in your prayers. We'll be posting pics when we get them of this past weekend's trip. We had our 2 year wedding anniversary yesterday, and we went to the Charley's Waterfront Cafe here in Farmville. First time there, and Kristi's been wanting to go since we moved here. It was wonderful, and we had a blessed time. God is so good!!!
Thursday, December 17th Kristi and I are getting ready for Christmas in our little house here in Cumberland. We were talking yesterday how it will be 3 of us next year and how amazed we were with that little nugget of truth. It's truly remarkable to think of all that God has done for us this past year. He's kept us safe on the road so many trips and healed our bodies of so many things, and given us a little baby about to come forth, and allowed visits by Kristi's family. He's given us a great family next door to us and a golden retriever dog to play with anytime we want to. We put out 2 new cd's this past Summer and He gave us the money to do that. Wow......what an awesome God we serve. :) We are currently taking off for a couple of weeks for Christmas. No traveling or ministry from stage. I have been reading a book by a preacher from the early 1900's named Bevington. Great faith builder. Kristi's been knitting and making diapers for the baby. We are expecting my sister and her husband in from South Caroline next week for Christmas and Kristi and I will head over to Petersburg to spend those few days with family. We are heading up to Charlottesville this weekend for a UVA game with my parents. They're not too hot this year in football or basketball, but you gotta stick with them, right? We are playing several times in January before we take off for the birth of the baby. We actually have a trip all the way up to Pittsburgh scheduled the 2nd week in January with a stop in Maryland as well on that little tour. Check out the schedule page for all the details. We'll be off the road for all of February and the last 2 weekends in January for Kristi to give birth and recover and get settled. In March, we'll be doing some concerts. Lots of updates on the site, so poke around if you'd like.
Thursday, October 15th Good golly, it's been a whole 3 months since we've updated our little website here. I'm sorry for the long delay. We've been BUSY. We have played concerts and traveled 18 out of 19 straight weekends! We've been a little lax in the technological department of keeping the website updated. Kristi's mom came for a visit in late September and one of her brothers was here yesterday with his girlfriend and her sister for a visit. We are leaving on Sunday night after our ministry time in Matoaca for a 4 day trip to SC with my parents, and then we have a wedding next weekend in VA Beach (Kristi's cousin), and her other brother is flying in for that from South Dakota. He'll spend that weekend with us into the middle of the next week. Plus we are playing in Newport News next Sunday morning at Riverside Baptist Church! What a busy time. However, we needed to post an entry here to let you know we hadn't fallen off the end of the world. Kristi is still growing with the little one and the pregnancy is going well. She is due in early February. We probably will not be doing many concerts after the middle of November this year and will play some in early January and then take a month or so off for her to have the baby and recuperate. The new cd's are out and people seem to be enjoying them. "Almost Live" and "The Remnant and the Harlot" have both received pretty good reviews from many people who have let us know what they thought about them. They'll both be up on I-Tunes soon enough too. "All For Me", was recently recorded by the Southern Gospel group, "The Greenes" and also was in a Christian movie called "Praise Band" It's been on cable television and a limited release to theatres. That was kind of cool. I haven't been writing at all lately as is the case most of the time after a cd comes out. I am feeling the creative fires flickering a bit, so hopefully it won't be long now before I start to work on some new music. It's a cold, rainy day here in Farmville, VA, where we live. It's so peaceful, though. We are so blessed, and you know what? We're blessed to call so many of you friends. Not fans....friends..brothers and sisters in the Lord. We love you all, and will not wait 3 months to keep everything updated again!"
Monday, July 6th This week we are getting ready for the cd release concert at Matoaca Middle School this Saturday night, July 11th at 7PM. Community Christian Fellowship, my home church, is hosting this, and we invite you to come out. We're gonna be doing many songs from the new cd, and also several older ones. We'll be having a bass player, and drummer for this event, so that'll be a first. We're very excited to say that the cd's have arrived and we have them in stock now. If you ordered one at a previous concert, they'll be going out today. If you want to order them now, they can be purchased on this website under the store tab. Hope to see many of you all on Saturday night!
Saturday, June 13th We are playing tomorrow morning in a last minute addition to the schedule at Jetersville Baptist Church in Jetersville, VA. We're just doing 1-2 songs and helping with the music. It's kind of a preview/promotion for the full concert we're doing there on July 12th, Sunday night. It's the day after the cd release concert at Matoaca Middle School. Please mark your calendars for that date! We are still finishing up cd mixes and are hoping to get everything off to the manufacturer this next week early. I have been listening to the "Almost Live" cd today that's just about done, and I am really excited for you all to hear that. If you liked early Belief stuff that was a little more light and acoustic/country you'll really like this record. There are some songs that have almost a bluegrass feel to them. It's very easy listening, and just a great job done by everyone. I play guitar alot on the cd and Kristi plays violin on every song, and it's very similar to a live show, but with a few bells and whistles. More later!
Monday, June 1st Kristi and I have had our last weekend off for awhile. We are heading back on the road this weekend for stops in Williamsburg and Chester, VA. We are guests on Sunday morning at York River Baptist in Williamsburg and then that night at 6PM we'll be at Enon Baptist Church in Chester, VA. This will be my first time at Enon, so please come out that night if you're local. We spent this past Thursday and Friday in the studio finishing up vocals for our new cd's. My friend and uncle, and pastor of Community Christian Fellowship in Petersburg, VA, Jim Burton, came out on Friday and added some great background vocals for 3 songs on the new cd. The day before, Kristi added some violin to 3 songs and added some background vocals to 2 other songs. We put some BANJO and mandolin on a remake of the song, "Broken Things" for the acoustic cd. "Broken Things" was originally on the "Breaking Through" cd that came out in 2008. Everything is being finished up in the new 2 weeks. We are HOPING to have cds in hand by July 1st. We'll see. We could be off by 2-4 days, but that's what we're hoping for. More soon!

Friday, April 24th
Monday, April 13th
Tuesday, April 7th Sorry it's been awhile since we updated the site here. We've got alot going on, but here are the facts. We have begun recording the new cd.....actually both new cd's. We're recording the acoustic/sparse production cd here in VA not too far from our home in Farmville. We cut tracks last weekend and already things are taking shape. We cut more tracks this weekend. We're doing some vocals on Friday night and cutting more guitar and vocals on Saturday. I am playing alot of the guitar on this cd and we have a new friend who is cutting the lead stuff. He's a real player. The tracks for the brand new cd are being cut in Nashville. They're already being worked on. We're just really excited about these. We don't play any for the next few weeks as we work on the record. The acoustic one is going to be called "Almost Live" and is taking on a combination of country, bluegrass, singer/songwriter, and folk/pop feel. Kind of like Nickel Creek meets Caedmons Call. We'll keep you updated! Thanks for reading.....
Tuesday, March 10th Kristi and I are home today and loving being here. She is teaching violin now in VA. Only one student so far, but they just pulled in and Kristi will be teaching her lesson now. SHe is pretty excited and the young gal had her first lesson last week and it went very well. We had another good weekend out on the road. We played in Newport News and Suffolk. Had a great time at both churches and boy were we tired when we got home late Sunday night. The day reminded me of the ones that Sarah and I used to have when we were first starting in ministry. We played alot in that area of the state and Kristi and I stopped at the same gas station and restaurant that we used to stop at. It was a good day. It sure was a warm weekend! We are in Petersburg and Chesapeake this weekend coming up. Check the site for details!

Saturday, February 7th This will be a quick update because we are about to leave for Petersburg to get ready for the weekend's concerts. We are at Prince George Christian Church tomorrow morning and then tomorrow night we are at Western Heights BC in Petersburg/Dinwiddie at 7PM! Make plans, if you can, to come out and join us. It's a local/free concert! We are excited. We are heading to Pensacola next weekend for the Unleavened Bread Bible Study. We will be a guest on the radio program and it goes out at 8:30 Eastern Time(7:30 Central) and will be on www.spirit1.us. Make plans to listen. It's a great Bible study time anyway, and we are excited about being on. Keep my family in your prayers. My mom's mother has cancer and has been sent home to make her last days as comfortable as possible. It's a sad, sad situation. She is 78 and has lived a long, good life. She is a sweetheart, though, and it's just so hard to see. I have all 4 grandparents still living, so I have been blessed. Please be in prayer for the family. Thank you!"
January 17th, 2009 "You Will Be" has picked up where it left off and is doing better than the first single, "Long Live The King", on Christian radio! We just received adds on stations in MN, TN, and VA. It's being played in heavy rotation on WOLC in Salisbury, MD and is in medium rotation in San Angelo, TX. Many stations are taking a fresh look at the single after the Christmas holidays and we're excited to see what God's doing with it. We are adding new concerts daily/weekly to the website, so keep checking back. We are praying about taking a trip down to Pensacola, FL in February to be a guest on the Unleavened Bread Bible Studay held every Sunday and Wednesday night and broadcast over the internet, radio, and satellite all over the world. David Eells is the teacher and he is the best Bible teacher I have ever heard. I've been listening to him teach and fellowshipping with the brethren from that study for years, and now it'll be nice to finally meet him and meet some of the brethren. We'll keep you posted, but you can check out his site at www.unleavened breadministries.org. It's looking like it could be February 15th, Sunday night. We'll see and keep you posted.
January 5th, 2009 Happy New Year to everyone. Hope you had a great Christmas. We sent our Christmas newsletter a while ago, so I hope you guys got it and enjoyed it. We are getting set for a bunch of concerts starting this weekend in VA Beach and Petersburg, VA. The single is going for adds again all over the country as well. We had a great Christmas and just got back from South Dakota on Saturday night. We were bushed after that drive. It was an awesome time, though. On a sad note....one of my good friends and someone that taught me more than most in this life, Cham Laughlin, died this morning. He had battled with cancer for awhile, and he lost his battle. He produced the "Beginnings" cassette I did back in the day. It was my very first recording. He also produced Sarah's and my first recording, "God's Road". Some of you might remember those. He was a character and a great friend. The songwriting community and music community of VA is mourning his loss. He was the guy that started the Virginia Organization of Songwriter's and Lyricists(VOCAL) and helped many aspiring writers, singers, and musicians hone their craft. What a blessing he was.
Wednesday, November 5th President Elect Obama, huh? Well, however we feel about him or his policies or whether you're a democrat or republican....it's a historic moment in the nation's history. Sometimes I am hesitant to get very political on this site especially in regard to Republican/Democrat issues, but the cause of life took a very big hit last night. I have never been extremely passionate about abortion, but in this election after watching some things and reading some things about late term abortions and things like that I don't think I could ever support another candidate who was for allowing more little ones to be murdered, and that is what it is. My wife's home state of South Dakota had a measure to be voted on yesterday dramatically reducing abortion rights in that state and it did not pass. It would have made South Dakota the only state in the land to have that restrictive abortion laws, but again, the Enemy won and the vote was against that bill. Of course, we as Americans have elected who we have as Senators, Representatives, and President. We will get what we deserve. We voted with our pocketbooks in mind. The Lord will give us what we ask for and what we deserve. Our politicians represent our people....in ideaology, religion, and morals. We're a corrupt people...... On a lighter note....Kristi and I play this weekend again! We had a weekend off and enjoyed it immensely. We stayed home, watched football, went to the brunswick stew festival in Richmond....just had a good relaxing weekend. We are in Martinsville, VA this Saturday night and Sunday morning and then are in Prince George on Sunday night at Sycamore UMC! Come out and see us. We're currently booking dates for next year, so anyone interested in us coming, please let me know. That's all for now....later
Thursday, October 23rd Kristi and I are in Tennessee today. We just played a concert last night in Greeneville, TN at the Calvary Chapel there. It was a great show and we had a wonderful turnout and the people were just awesome. What a great fellowship there. Kristi said it was one of her favorite churches we've ministered in since we've been married. We woke up this morning to a nice breakfast in the Comfort Inn and we're now taking up all of our time before we have to leave and hit the road again to head to Nashville for a weekend of music and ministry there. We are going to be getting out a newsletter next week hopefully. We've been way behind on that, so we are going to try and get things going there. We also have a new single out on radio now. The song, "You Will Be" was released to Christian INSPO radio last week and so hopefully you'll be hearing it on your local station. It's from my new cd, "Breaking Through". If you haven't gotten that cd, head on over to the store page and listen to clips and get a copy. Talk to you guys soon!! God bless."
Thursday, September 25th, 2008 We play at Ivy Memorial UMC this Sunday morning at 2 services in Colonial Heights, VA. We then go to upstate NY next weekend. We have a trip to Myrtle Beach with family and a ministry trip to Nashville and the move all thrown in for good measure in between several Virginia concerts. We're praying about releasing a new single to radio this Fall or waiting until the new year. Please pray for our decision in that matter. We were able to do a concert at Calvary Baptist Church just down the road from where we currently attend church in Chesterfield this past Sunday night. A huge thanks to all who came out and attended. It's getting really unsure around the nation right now with the economic upheaval. Keep your eyes on Jesus. He is secure. Judgment has to come to bring repentance. The church won't repent with warnings anymore. The Lord is bringing judgment against this nation and the church who have forgotten His ways. Come out of religion, friends, and get to know Jesus in an intimate way. More to come.....
Tuesday, September 16th, 2008 We're finally getting used to being in one place for longer than a couple of days again. We're home from tour and it was great. Of course, 2 long tours in less than 7 month is a bit much, but still, we met and performed for and ministered to some great people over the last 5-6 weeks. Just this past weekend was our first weekend back in the Eastern part of the country, and we ministered at my grandparents' church in Chesterfield, VA. It was great, and the response to Kristi's addition to the music was still great. Sunday night we spent at Fellowship BC down in Eastern North Carolina and it was great as well. We were part of the opening night of the Bible Conference and they had a great preacher and it was good to listen to someone preach live again. We did about 35 mins of music and he preached and there was an altar call and it was packed. Great ministry time. We'll be in Newport News this Sunday morning at Riverside BC where Kristi will be introduced again. Sunday night we're at Mt. Calvary BC in Chesterfield near the old Matoaca hghschool. Just down the street from the Middle School at 6PM. Please come out if you're in the area! We'd love to have you. We are still getting played on stations all over the country with the "Long Live The King" single. We're headed to NY and Nashville for ministry events in October plus tons of VA shows. Check out everything on the schedule page.
Friday, September 5, 2008 Kristi and I are home today, but just for 1 more day. We head out again tomorrow for Ohio for 2 events tomorrow night and Sunday morning. We do a concert tomorrow night at the Wilmington Church of Christ in Wilmington, OH and then head down to Kentucky to play at the Calvary Chapel in Lexington on Sunday morning. We are still recovering a little bit from being on the road for 4 weeks in August and we would still be on the road right now if we hadn't decided at last minute to head home to Virginia for a few days before this Ohio trip. We had a great tour and met some great people. We are continuing to see the Lord, God Almighty, provide for us and provide for others through us. The new cd, "Breaking Through" is receiving great reviews and the folks who have gotten it seem to really like it. We hope so. Kristi and I are entertaining thoughts of doing a new cd this Fall but doing it more acoustic and more true to the live concert we do. It would include guitar/violin/bass/piano/percussion and maybe some mandolin, strings, and more. Pray for the Lord's leading on all of this. Many people have asked if we were thinking of doing something like that, and I think it would be well received. More later....
Thursday, August 28th, 2008 Well, it's noon in Minnesota. Sounds like the beginning of a story or a song, doesn't it? :) Kristi and I are beginning the end of the tour 5 more concerts and we're done with the Summer Tour 2008. It's been dubbed the "Breaking Through" tour by several since that is the name of the new cd. It's been, once again, an amazing adventure. We've had some hard knocks including a last minute cancellation that left us scrambling and still scrambling, but God has continued to show forth His faithfulness in all things. We've been hearing from folks all over the South and Midwest that have been blessed by the music and ministry and that God has touched through the time we've been out on the road. We've been out now for 28 days..4 weeks exactly. Whew! We played last night in Little Falls, MN and it was great. We played at the River Church and had a great turnout from such a small town and church. A great time of storytelling, worship, and song. We were blessed to be in Northern MN this past weekend in Milaca and Crosslake at 2 churches I'd been to before. We had great times there as well. We head out tomorrow for Beloit, WI to play at The Overflowing Cup Coffeehouse. It's been around since the 70's when the "Jesus Music" thing was happening and many of the pioneers of Christian music have played there a time or two. We play in Wisconsin on Saturday and Sunday morning too and then head for a suburb of Chicago. We have heard from a few folks who have been hearing "Long Live The King" on their radio stations, which is very cool. We are heading home sometime in the next week and we have one more concert next Saturday night in Ohio. We need a rest. :) College football starts tonight! God bless you guys! Thanks for praying.
Monday, August 18th, 2008 Well, we are sorry for the lack of updates on this site lately. We are in Rapid City, SD right now. We played for Kristi's former home church of South Canyon Baptist last night outdoors at the Bandshell Stage near downtown Rapid City. We had a great turnout of people from the church and friends, family, and visitors. A huge thank you to those folks who planned and organized the concert. We ministered yesterday morning at Hillsview Evangelical Free Church just outside of Rapid City and it was absolutely awesome to be with them too. They were some of the kindes people. Kristi's parents got to come to both events and we were able to spend the day with them and had a leisurely lunch with the family and played games all afternoon before the concert last night. It was a great day. We have been in SC, GA, MO, and KS already before arriving in South Dakota last Monday night late. We play on Wednesday night in Hot Springs, SD and then leave out of here on Thursday morning for Luverne, MN to spend time with friends. We play Friday night in Eastern South Dakota and then spend the rest of the weekend in MN. What a whirlwind. The single is winding down. We're getting played now in WI, MN, PA, MD, AZ, MO, FL, and GA but the life of the single is fading. We are praying as to whether or not God wants us to release another tune to radio. It's an expensive endeavor, and we just want to make sure it's His desire. We're both a little tired and sad to be leaving SD on thursday. It's been such a great visit. The weather is beautiful. It was 72 degrees or so at the start of the show last night outside and in the 60's by the time it was over. BEAUTIFUL! Virginia just can't compete with that. We'll try and keep u updates with more as the tour continues. God bless ya'll. jason
Thursday, July 24th, 2008 We leave for the start of the Summer tour next Friday. We'll begin in South Carolina and end in Northeastern Ohio on September 7th. A long 39 days on the road! Please, please, please, keep us in your prayers. So far 22 concerts/appearances are scheduled for this tour. We're being played on the radio up in North Central MN and we'll be doing several concerts in the areas we're being played in. As an update on the single, we're still being added and played on several Inspirational stations and we still are aggressively pursuing that airplay. Adult Contemporary radio has been quite a bit less accomodating. :) We've basically struck out on that format for "Long Live The King". It's so tough these days with any format, much less Adult Contemporary. AC is the format the K-Love is and many of the largest stations in the country. Now, we're still being played and are doing well on several stations on the Inspirational format. We'll probably keep promoting this single for another 1-2 months on INSPO radio. We've got another couple of singles lined up to choose for #2. We're going to be praying and seeking the LORD'S will in reference to another song to be released to radio. We'll keep ya'll updated on the tour. We'll be in Powhatan, VA playing at New Hope Fellowship Church on Sunday morning! Can't wait to be there. One of my favorite fellowships! God bless....
Wednesday, July 16th, 2008 We played at one of my favorite churches in the area on Sunday night. We were priviledged once again to minister in Lexington, VA at the Foursquare Church. It's a smaller/country church pastored by one of my favorite pastors I have had the opportunity to meet over the last 10 years of ministry. Hunter Phillips is the pastor and he and his lovely wife have been having me up since the Belief days and Kristi got to meet this church and she was in agreement. We were invited to play with the praise team so a big thank you to those guys. Bill and Kristi talked shop about violins, and she LOVED that, so that was cool for her. If I lived in Lexington I believe I would attend there. Well, we had a great time and we ministered and unfortunately had to leave immediately after the service. We head back down south to the Petersburg area to play on Sunday night at Oaklawn Baptist Church. We had a great time there as well. We saw some friends and family and had some folks from our home church come out and join us for an evening of music and the Word. It was a great time and Pastor Jim Pfost was wonderful. It was the first time I have met him. Very kind man who blessed us. Thank you to both of these churches who allowed us to come in and share the music God has given us and minister. We are still scheduling a few last dates for the August/September tour we're getting ready to embark on. We're gonna be rolling. "Long Live The King" is now in heavy rotation at WOLC in Salisbury, MD and in Medium rotation in Southern Iowa on "The Bridge FM". We're getting played as well in Southern PA, Northern MD, and Northern Minnesota. It's been a slow start, but thank you to the stations who have been playing this tune. More later......
Wednesday, July 9th, 2008 Well, the tour plans are shaping up right now. We leave the 1st of August to begin a 5 week and 3 day tour from Georgia to South Dakota. As you may remember, we just did a 6 week tour back in April/May, so we're probably a little road weary. We've had some time at home, and have played local and even got a quick vacation in(my first in years) and it was great. The new songs from the new cd should be available to listen to shortly. Stay tuned for more updates....there is a new journal entry, so check it out.
Monday, July 7th, 2008 We were home yesterday. Basically the whole 4th of July weekend was spent with family and friends ending with being at our home church of Community Christian Fellowship in Petersburg, VA. Kristi and I did a couple of songs and our home church was very supportive in taking alot of the new cd's off of our hands. We hope you guys enjoy them and they bless you and challenge you! Now...we don't have another weekend off until....oh...either September or November. We head off for tour in August and are praying about whether or not to stay out all of September too. It's a tough decision. The new cd has gotten favorable reviews from those who have let us know what they think. We are headed this weekend up to one of my favorite churches in Lexington, VA to play at the Foursquare Church up there and then we'll head back down interstate 64/95 play in Petersburg on Sunday night at Oaklawn Baptist Church just a mile or two from where we live. If you're local and want to come out to that then please do. We'll be playing around 6PM! Bless the Lord!
Saturday, June 28th, 2008 Thanks for stopping by. Kristi and I are heading out tomorrow morning to do a concert at Newmarket Baptist Church in Newport News and then tomorrow night we'll be in Williamsburg at Grace Baptist Church. I have been to both of these churches, BUT this will be the first time for Kristi and will be the first time that I'll have my BRAND NEW CD with me. They came in on Thursday of this past week, and we have them now. Songs should be available for preview on this site soon, and you can order the new cd NOW! It's something I am very proud of and I poured my heart out on this cd. It's called Breaking Through and we'll be bringing it to you in the coming months. It'll be on I-Tunes as well sometime in the next week or so. My new single to radio is being played in heavy rotation in Salisbury, MD on WOLC! You guys on the Eastern Shore of MD and VA can listen to this station. The new single, "Long Live The King" is also receiving airplay on Christian stations like KCWN that covers Southern Iowa and KTIG/KCFB in Northern Minnesota near St. Cloud/Alexandria. Many more have added or are considering adding the single. Please pray for this endeavor and for the Lord to allow it to impact our ministry. More soon.....God bless.
